Lutco hosted its annual Christmas Luncheon on the last week before our Christmas shutdown, and it was a memorable event for everyone involved. All Lutco employees and local sales reps were invited to join in the festivities, and we were delighted to welcome several former employees who had retired over the past decade.
At the celebration, we toasted Linda Mura’s retirement; she has been with Lutco for 22 years and was honored with a special farewell. Employees with Lutco for 25 years were awarded watches, and all retirees received gifts during the luncheon. John Stowe, company chairman, and Dug Stowe, company president, each took a turn to speak to the team to express appreciation for all their hard work and dedication over the past year. Dug also noted his gratitude for Lutco’s terrific employees and consistent customers, and for a level of stability any business would envy.
We also held a raffle for this year’s United Way contributors, where we gifted Visa gift cards, chocolate arrangements, Yeti cups, Bluetooth speakers, and other items to the lucky winners. As guests departed, there was a grab bag event where everyone pulled out an envelope with anywhere from $20 to $50 in it. We are especially grateful to the volunteers who organized and managed food and activities at the event.
This Christmas luncheon has been going on for over 30 years at Lutco and is always anticipated by both current and retired workers alike, as it’s a wonderful way to show appreciation for all of their hard work throughout the year. We’ll certainly look forward to celebrating again next year!
