Flangettes
Lutco is the largest manufacturer of flangettes in North America!
Flangette assemblies are constructed as two piece, pressed steel housings, and are used in applications that require controlled torque and misalignment.
The spherical inside surfaces of each pair of flangettes mates with the spherical outside diameter of the bearing’s outer race to provide self-aligning capability.
Flangettes are offered in standard configurations as well as custom designs. Standard flangettes configurations are offered in two bolt, three and four bolt round, triangular, four bolt square and relubricatable types. Custom or special flangettes can also be developed based on your requirements.
Flangette Styles
2-Bolt
- Bearing OD: 35 to 72 mm
- Shaft Dia: .5 to 1.4375 in.
- Designed for installations where the standard three bolt flangettes cannot be used because of space constraints
3 & 4-Bolt Round
- Bearing OD: 40 to 100 mm
- Shaft Dia: .5 to 2.1875 in.
3-Bolt Triangular
- Bearing OD: 40 to 72 mm
- Shaft Dia: .5 to 1.4375 in.
- Used where space is limited and where round flangettes would not fit
- Cost-effective alternative to round flangette type
4-Bolt Square
- Bearing OD: 80 to 100 mm
- Shaft Dia: 1.5 to 2.1875 in.
- Used where space is limited or where it is necessary to trim one or more sides of a round flangette
- Economic alternative to round flangette type
Relube Flangettes
- Bearing OD: 52 to 100 mm
- Shaft Dia. .75 to 2.1875 in.
- Relubricatable for applications where excessive moisture and contamination are present
- Offered in both round and square configurations
